Fees on RaiseWise.us
There is no fee to list a startup's fundraising campaign on RaiseWise.us, and we do not charge investors any fee for using our platform.
We charge the issuer a platform fee, calculated as a percentage of the amount raised, only for a successfully funded raise. Payment processing fees also apply and are paid directly to the service provider when the issuer's campaign closes. RaiseWise USA, Inc. pays the escrow service fee.
All investments are held in a third-party escrow account. Funds are transferred to the issuer only after the funding round has closed and the target has been reached. All fees are paid to RaiseWise USA, Inc. from the escrow account once the fully funded campaign has closed.
All investment funds raised through the RaiseWise.us platform are deposited directly into the escrow account of our third-party provider. All funds remain in escrow until the end of the campaign. The amount raised is then paid out to the issuer's bank account registered on our platform or, if the campaign does not succeed, returned to the investors.
To start a fundraising campaign, you must register and create your company profile. Funding on the RaiseWise.us platform is "all or nothing": the issuer receives the capital only if the campaign reaches its funding target. If the target is not reached, the capital raised so far is returned to the investors without any fees.
Payment processing fees do not apply to refunds of unsuccessful campaigns: in that case, investors are refunded in full.
